In addition, Saucijs UNIQ uses a residual stream of puff pastry, a byproduct that the bakery itself cannot reuse. By integrating this residual stream into their production process, the company is contributing to a circular economy and helping to reduce food waste.

Rural Availability

In addition to the improvements in production, Saucijs UNIQ also engaged QSTA as a partner. This partnership has ensured that the sustainable borrel bites are now available nationwide. As a result, even more people can enjoy the delicious and responsible snacks that Saucijs UNIQ has to offer.

The underlying idea of Saucijs UNIQ (SU) is of course fantastic! By using the meat of wild geese (which cause nuisance in the Netherlands) SU is committed to a more sustainable world. Besides the sustainable aspect, with food it is also important that it has taste! And I can tell you (as one of the ''guinea pigs''): ''SU has managed to create a tasty, yet unique taste, in which the taste of the bread and the taste of the meat come into their own. I think the unique flavor that has been created is good, because it still allows one to experience the distinction between regular meat or sustainable goose meat.
